We all fell into the trap. I am a victim as well.

EVERYONE on this forum including myself and on others was on the over in this toronto/yankees. game. Line moved up to -135 on the over at some sites.
WALKER is 0-1 when starting against NY YANKEES with an ERA of 9.00 and a WHIP of 1.727
WEAVER is 3-6 when starting against TORONTO with an ERA of 6.02 and a WHIP of 1.492

The over was at least a 2-1 favorite at most consensus sites.

Seemed too friggin easy.

Still 6 innings left, but with both pitchers pitching like cy young we probably lost. Oh well, on to the next game.

I know it's only the 4th. I'm not saying we have a loser yet, and who cares as its only 1 play in a season of many.

BUT, both these pitchers amazingly have good stuff today and are pitching way better than they do in most starts. That's all.

Besides, I have nothing better to do with my life than vent.:D

Maybe we were supposed to bet on the over 9 total hits, not runs. You can almost take it to the bank, whenever everyone is on the same side, it will tank for you.

In the top of the first, the first two runners get on, then the dreaded double play, and with runners on first and third and two out, the moron gets called out on strikes with a full count. Get the frigging bat off your frigging shoulder!!! Taking advantage of great scoring opportunities like that are what determine whether the total goes over or under....

Oh, well, we still have 5 innings, oh you of little faith....:(

GL to all.:D :D

Mondesi homered with no one out and no one on in the bottom of the fifth. Hopefully, the flood gates will open.

I've tried the whine and win method, with varying degrees of success in the past. Maybe it will work for us this time.

Mondesi strikes out with runners on first and second and no outs. After Johnson walks to load em up, Flaherty pops up and Almonte gets called out on strikes! No one out, and they can't fawking deliver....

Destiny not on our side so far... Need Toronto to contribute this inning....
