I read that Castillejo made 154 lbs. on his 2nd try.

Don't know how much he had to shed

I took Vargas at CRIS (-360) to make 1 unit

Castillejo had to shed 1 pound

The Vargas of old would beat Castillejo, but Vargas has back problems which caused a long layoff and will bother him the rest of his career. Vargas looked very rusty against Joval having been inactive for 15 months, but he still won in convincing fashion. I expect Vargas to look better tonight, but his opponent is slightly better than the light-punching Joval.

If Vargas' back holds up, and he doesn't get caught with a big shot, he should win. The location and promotion heavily favor Vargas. If it goes to the cards, he has a huge advantage.

I played Castillo small at +350 due to how Vargas looked in his last fight, his questionable chin, and his back issues. Castillejo knows about all these things, and he knows he's up against everything as far as winning a decision. I expect Cast to go for a stoppage here, and it could happen.

Even money, I'd take Vargas

+350 I'll take a small shot on Castillejo

I guess nobody respect me because I'm the new guy, but I think Vargas rapes Castielljo. I also am awaiting my man Juarez to get in the ring and give Soto the "Guty" treatment..........I took them both in a parlay and put a little on both their unders. I think Rocky will get his. Vargas had good odds so why not a shot with a few bucks? Can't beat +300.......

I didn't mean to talk you out of anything, I'm just giving my honest opinion.

One other thing to consider about Vargas and his last fight, he weighed in at 162 against Joval, very heavy for him.

He weighed 154 on the first try yesterday so I definitly expect him to be sharper than his last fight.
Castillejo is 37 and could be on the way out.

As you can see, I played Castillejo very small

If you like Vargas, don't let me sway your opinion

How many beers have you had geto?

I don't drink beer, I drink liquor. I'd say about half a bottle of Vodka at this point. Forgive bad mispelling or complete ramblings....either way, go Rocky!!!!!

Soto's height, length, and style are a nightmare for Juarez

Regardless of who wins, Soto +355 was a very solid play here

Better have another vodka geto
