first off,how strange was the pacquaio/navarro bout?...navarro kept trying to quit...and the ref wouldn`t let him....lol....
but,the thing that blew me away was the dos santos/"danny z." fight that opened the card....
danny z fought last friday.....and was about as raw as any pro i`ve ever seen...i think they grabbed him out of the audience or off the street...he was tough...but so raw...
the thing that caught my eye was danny z`s protector....or lack of same...
his trunks looked like he grabbed them out of the trashcan......they didn`t fit....and the protector?....i`m not sure he had a protector on....
his trunks had fallen almost 6 inches below his navel,and the protector was nowhere to be seen...
iknow it`s rule that you must wear a protector,but,if he had one on,it wasn`t his...it must have been a kiddie protector....it wasn`t protecting shit...maybe one of the one`s for 60-120 pounders...
i`ve worn cups...even poorly fitting ones...but,i didn`t think they made them without hip protection...i didn`t see any hip protection...
his cup was ridiculous...if,he had one on...
i kept hoping he`d get hit low....if that was a cup.....that small....and it must have been, it could have crippled him....
