I know most use laptops or tablets or phones but I use a desktop mainly.

Anyway I want a new keyboard and was wondering what the drawbacks to a wireless keyboard are.

None really, been using the same wireless keyboard for years now. There is no or minimal lag and it does not burn through batteries. I hate wires all over the place so it's a no brainer for me.

I like the backlit wireless keyboards..... you may need a pvc wire to keep the batteries charged

Wish I would have thought of that, my laptop has backlit and I like that a lot. Damn, I think I'll return what I ordered yesterday when it comes and order a different one now. :0008

This this is a POS and returning it tomorrow. The lag is unbearable.

Anybody have one without any lag?

I decided against back lit. I hate dealing with batteries and there are mixed reviews.

Have about 3 wireless keyboards. No lag. All Logitech. Now I gotta ask..........how old is your computer? What OS?

have one of your granddaughters hook it up for you

Truth.

I sent it back already. Amazon is great. Go there, click return, print out label, take to UPS Store, get an email 5 minutes later that I have been credited.

I must have gotten a defective one. I changed the batteries and that didn't help either. The wire is no problem anyway.
