jack is a stand up guy like myself he has givin me the chance to move to the front page of this forum where i belong.the challenge is i have 60 games to pick and i have to come out with a winning record.guys this is your chance to get even with me i will take all bets on my record i have set an over under on total wins for me in this contest at 36 1/2 to make it tougher i will not be allowed to bet on a team where the favorite is laying over -140 that means i cant load up wins on randy,pedro and curt.this will of course make it tougher on me but im up for it.i might be going to the superbowl party this year we can settle up then if i lose if not i will send out a check to jack to pay each guy.the max you can bet is 200 dollars i want us to still be friends when its all over.jack if nobody wants to bet im still going through with this i want my name in the handicappers section.my first selection will be made on monday i have to break out of this mini losing streak before i begin.BEANTOWNJIM

Hey, how about a BTJ vs. Nolan contest over 60 games. The line would be about BTJ -175. If BTJ wins, he takes Nolan's place in the free picks section and Nolan can go back to concentrating on poker full-time. I think that we would all be better off that way.

If by some miracle Nolan wins, then BTJ has to go to confession with The New Father Ryan and repent his sins.

Anyway, just let me know if we should have some fun !!!And where you are going to keep track of your plays... I also think you should use the REAL lines (eg.-$140) instead of just a win or loss game. If you took 60 plays @ -$140 every pick,you have a HUGE adventage,and this you know. But, you have stated what you think is FAIR !!!!

YYZ, as I said I trust everyone prettywell. If I won the bet and he did'nt want to pay,simple for me, I would just figure he needs a lousy $100 that way,he can keep it. I just trust people at their word and that's really all I ask. No doubt there is HUGE history with the Beantown,but I try to move on and give people credit and hope they have changed(if needed) and this Kid needs change in more ways than I want to get into.
If somebody is down and out(say a bum on the street) and he asks me for some change,well,I can't say NO. I feel better givng the guy a $5 bill so he can buy a bottle of the cheapest rotgut ,cause I know I can't change his life ,but at least he can get his bottle a little quicker than $.40 at a time from each person...
So,Bean hasn't said if we are on for $100 ,but I do hope to hear he wants my measly action. But if it was for 2 or 3 Dimes,I would ask a 3rd party to hold it... Spanky

It's simple,I like and trust most people . For eg. I put in a reload of $700 to get a guy at this site a T Shirt as a 'small'gift.Well $700 is alot to pay for a $10 T Shirt,but I wanted to give it to him ,as he wanted one but was a little short on $$ to get one.
If I beat Beantown ,and he did not pay a lousy $100 bet, then ,as I said ,he needs the $100 more than I do.Something I learned about 33 years ago: YOU ALWAYS PAY YOUR LOSSES !!!!!!

I keep reading it, but it's still really hard to believe that anyone on this earth could be this stupid. I know it's there in black and white, but damn it, I'm still havin' a rough time swallowing it. The infinite amount of ramblings is in an extremely odd way, kind of funny. I truly don't believe they make a medication that would somehow improve this guy's life.

And Spanks, "thanks" for your generous offering, but from a financial standpoint I'm doin' alright I guess you can say. Last Christmas, I even had enough dough to take the family down to Gulfshores, AL and had the good fortune to set up camp at the newly renovated Comfort Inn. Although it was only for 3 days and 2 nights, the wife and kids had a blast. This year we're gonna try and make it to Guntown Mountain and catch ourselves an authentic western gun fight. Hopefully, we'll have enough dough left to stay a couple nights at the Jellystone campground and catch a few rides down the Alpine slide.

You're actually the first indivdual I've come across that enjoys being called a loser, deadbeat, etc....etc....I'd certainly hate to run across some of your TRUE enemies...
