Geez...........kickserv the tennis guy missed that.....CAN you believe that......all those tennis picks.....and I miss that......for the record the average odds for that match (32 books) are:

Kafelnikov $2.68 (+168)

Safin 1.40 (-250)


but one thing you guys might want to be aware of.......some books say one set must be played for bet to stand and some say one point must be played for bet to stand.......so it is possible you could lose but highly unlikely

good news....match is played indoors on taraflex so match won't be cancelled due to rain...so that's good

ARE THEY ****IN SERIOUS!!! I placed wagers on Safin THREE times over the course of an HOUR. AN HOUR!!!! And each of those times, Safin was NOT favored. They took by wagers three damn times... As you can tell, I am fumed by this shit as I have my wagers on Kafelnikov pending at OLY. What the hell should I do??? Anybody got this same email from WSEX?

I was in on it at plus 160 and I just noticed that email. I was going to wait until last minute and play the other side in case this happened. It does suck that they pull that crap though. Now you end up getting drilled playing it back. FYI the best odds on Safin are -185 at pinnacle if you want to play it back and cut the damage a bit.

Although it is frustrating and have been in your exact shoes on several occasions most books do have an 'out' clause regarding erroneous lines and WSEX does for sure.

Pretty much every book has a rule that states they can void a bet containing an obvious line error. While this type of wording can lead to arbitrary decisions, I think this particular case is clear-cut and that WSEX did the right thing. I do a lot of scalping and occasionally come across instances like this. My experience has been that a book will almost always void a bet when it is this obvious. So, instead of chancing it, I've found that it's best to just report the line error to the book. Many books will award you a token dollar amount for errors reported. Second best is probably to just let the bad line bet ride if you have an edge (which is likely the case if a line is off this much). Of course, this implies risk and thus may not be appropriate for some despite the value. But this way, if they void the bet, no harm is done.

sure, you're mad because you made bets that were cancelled and you scalped the bet with another book but you "KNEW" the line was off and tried to take advantage. sorry man, it doesn't usually work that way. nothing is free.
