Anyone been to CBSsportsline lately?

I don't know about the other sections, but in the baseball info. the pop-up ads are enough to drive you freaking nuts. Every move forward or back another pop-up. I'd like to get my hands on that marketing genius.

Interesting...CBS Sportsline was like that for me a few months ago, but now it's Yahoo's site that gives the 101 pop-ups.

Maybe they target only certain IP addresses at a time. Who knows?

be sure to read instructions on how to use it. downlaod all pop ups from there server and in the options menu checkdirect connection. i have had no problems with it. popups are gone.

Have it installed now and it works great! Now I can go to the Yahoo scoreboard and see those X10 Wireless Video Cam ads DIE, DIE, DIE!!! BUWAHAHAHAAAA!

downloaded the program and no more annoying pop-up ads.

but..............

if you're trying to get to a link on a webpage and it open up a new browser page, the pop-up will stop it from opening, which is a pain, but i haven't figured out how to get around that yet...

I installed the software on my computer but cannot get it to work. I run the test and so forth and it does not work. I know I have got to be doing something wrong - "downlaod all pop ups from there server and in the options menu checkdirect connection" - well I can't find where this stuff is as well

. Can you guys help me out???

The first time you encounter a particular pop-up, go to the detected pop-ups screen and highlight it. Then click on the pop-up drop down menu at the top and choose ADD, then the program will recognize it the next time it pops up.
Also in the options menu, click on preferences and then the detection tab, make sure the the slide on the smart engine is to the right so it is more sensitive to the detection. Hope this helps.
