I had an amazing time this season - this sounds disingenuous but its not the $, I love capping and following this sport.
In hindsight it was a little nuts betting Uconn so much in the tourney while having a future bet pending but after they lost at Creighton in Feb, I looked at the field and there was so much parity.
the way tennessee crumbled (maybe an overstatement) after beating aub at home (lost 4 of 5 i think?) and that was the #2 team in the polls?
i ignore polls mostly anyway, but aside from Bama looking the part, and Kansas dominating what in hindsight was an overrated big 12, there were 10-12 “why not them” teams … duke, ucla, purdue, marquette, xavier, tcu, zags, texas i guess? Zona, houston, i never felt like the gap between Bama / kansas was as big aa ppl thought down to the uconns, dukes, etc.
anyway, i love betting MLB, that’ll fill the void, i’m good at nba but dont enjoy it like college.
farewell, one of my fav seasons in a long time.
FWIW, the Fau / sdsu game was the game if the year.
gonzaga ucla was good too, bama houston early was great too, but irony of irony i lost a 7 team parlay (2x @ +5250) because of the la kings beating the krakken. It had sdsu ML, uconn, the bruins in what was a great nhl game, the red sox who won in dramatic fashion… doomed by a horrifically boring hockey game. As a rule i dont cash out (in case you’re wondering) but anyhow, cant wait for 23-24!!
