any thoughts on the 2nd half of Argentina/Nigeria?

I have a draw at +210 and Over 2.5 goals at -125. How do I hedge, or do I just sit tight and hope for the 0-0 or 1-1 draw?

Also, I've been looking at(but not betting) the in-game plays at Bet365. Anyone wagering as the game goes on, and if so, what are you betting on?

Anyone out there this early Sunday morning?

Ayup. Looks to my untrained eye that Argentina have had much the better of it... I think they will score one in the second half. (Of course I bet Argentina in the match, and the over... neither winning at the moment!)

Actually I was considering Pinnacle's Nigeria +700... could see that happening, probably better than a 12.5% chance that they win at this point. But then I'd be torn on my rooting interest :)

I agree

I agree

also with an untrained eye, that Argentina has had the better of it; however, the Nigerians have played great defense once the Argentines have got near the goal.

may just keep an eye out on total goals scored for the 2nd half and lay a ton of juice on 1 goal later in the half.

Are you going to be up for the next game? I'm going to give it a shot.....

About time... I was wondering how many chances would go wasting.

I bet Paraguay -0.5 +100; I will probably try to stay up and watch. Really would like to see the Sweden/England game at 5:30 but don't know if I'll last that long!

I have Sweden +0.5 -130, Draw +210 (1/4 unit), and under 2.5 -135 in that one.

Also have Spain over 2.5 -110.

Ended up taking a flyer on the over 11 corners when they had taken 8 of them. I counted at least 5 more, so I'm thinking I've got a winner there...LOL

I bet Paraguay on the ML at -125 and the no goal inside of the 29th minute.

So that means South Africa will score in the 12th minute and win the game 2-1....

Don't think I'll make it until the England match-- unless I fall asleep during this one...

I live in Burtonsville, very close to Laurel and about 15 mins north of DC.

On to game 2... playing Paraguay -0.5 +100. Good luck all.

Nice job on the corners. I am with you on Paraguay as I mentioned... almost bet a HT/FT result but I have horrid luck with those.

I'll root for a scoreless first 30 minutes for you, as long as Paraguay gets one somewhere.

Issa went off for injury.

Nice call on the time of first goal, redsfann. Can we convert one of these chances now?!

Winner!

But it sure wasn't easy.....lots of chances, and I can't believe the Paraguay player couldn't get a foot on that ball that was inches from the goal mouth.... and a ball just off the South African goalpost..grteat save by the S. African goalie.....

Mr--

Don't think Issa got tossed.... maybe an injury??

Goal

I should have gone ahead and added another half unit on Paraguay +115 in running.

BTW for anyone wondering the England/Sweden game is not on ESPN, but should be on Univision or other Spanish channels as they are covering all games.

The beer is holding out and now you have to go and tell me that I can watch the England match if I want to...LOL.

Can we just cancel the 2nd half of this game? we all have paraguay and the Under 2.5, right?

May try for a play on the corners again in the 2nd half....but not for too much.don't want to give away any of the profits if I don't have to..........

I love these soccer commentaries

I love these soccer commentaries

"55 mins - Arce goes for glory - and he gets it, curling the ball sublimely past Arendse. Great goal - 2-0 Paraguay!"

Sweet header by Roque Santa Cruz for the 1st goal, too.

Damn, that keeper made what looked like a boneheaded dive to pick up the penalty. He also looked less than world-class on that redirected goal.
