Not a clue about the scooter you are asking about. If you want to know about road rash from cycles let me know. I've seen lots in my 20 years of practice.
Most recently a father/son team who own several harley's apiece. Both have had multiple shoulder recontructions as a result of adventures on the road.
I've had my ONE motorcycle accident myself in 1981. Have been in cars or trucks since then. I drive an Explorer now. I feel that so long as I don't put "Tombstone" tires on it and take it easy on my fast cornering (so it doesn't tip over) I'm safer than on a motorcycle.
I know I know I know..... You don't wanna hear this chit.
Keep your lady safe and unscarred.
Scooter sounds like fun if she can stay out of heavy traffic and off of gravel or snow.
Good luck
