I dont live there, but it's funny you're moving there, Most are moving away from there b/c of weather and crappy economy and no jobs, but I dont know a lot about it,lot of people swear by up there though and love it, I've just visited a buddy at law school up there. Lot of blue collar jobs, nice suburb of amherst for you to live in, no idea about IT, good luck, where are you moving from?

I am moving from Albany, only 4hrs away.. So I am used to the cold and snow! But just getting a feel to where as I could get a job and the companies their etc...

hey dj, yea Im from downstate. Yea, the weather sucks but you are used to it so no problem, I dont know the companies up there with IT, tons of hsbc's though, and tons of bars to be a bartender, and a 4 am closing time, LOL in all seriousness, good luck finding a job there
