Reason: Put us down on the New York Giants -10 for our Free NFL Pick on Sunday. Today the Detroit Lions will be on the road as they do battle with the New York Giants. We will lay the points with the New York Giants! The only reason why the New York Giants are not favorite in this game by 14 or more points is because the Detroit Lions are coming off a blowout win against the Rams (oddsmakers know that bettors tend to look at last weeks results, not the "big picture". You should ALWAYS look at the "big picture" when betting sports). That is the Detroit Lions only win this season and beating a poor Rams team is noting specail. The Detroit Lions have a very poor offensive-line and the Giants have been rocking quarterbacks like it's 2007 (when they won the Super Bowl). Yes, we know the Detroit Lions have been decent when throwing the ball in the air, however, they are going up against a Giants defense that has allowed the fewest yards per game through the air (that includes games against P. Manning, M. Schaub, and J. Cutler -- all of whom are much more capable than Lions QB Hill and have much better protection from the offensive line, along with more balanced offenses). The New York Giants defense is allowing an average of only 6.5 points per game (in their last two games), and should have no problem stopping the Lions offense. The Lions currently hold a 23 game road losing streak (the 4th longest in NFL history), and will once again get beat today! Lay the points! Take the New York Giants -10!
