North Carolina State @ Texas Tech

Intially I liked Tech here, Lubbock is a tough place to travel to, and I really think thisis going to be a shutout. The only thing that scares me off Tech is their defense, I watched them play OSU and their D was pretty sad. I have not seen State play yet.

Kent @ Miami
I really think thisis too many points for the Redhawks to be giving up in this matchup. Kent will get their share of points, my question here is Kent's defense is pathetic. Cal Poly had them on them ropes last week. Kent has Alston back this week their main TB he played vs Poly and that should ease the burden on the offense.

If Tech's defense is as bad as you say it is, I would lay off of it. I played high school ball with N.C. State's QB (Rivers) and he can definitely throw the ball!!

but the fever is spreading, and this 4-0 team from raleigh is different from the last few to start off undefeated. true, the pack hasnt played that stiff a competition, but they are for real. last sat, nc state had to play a team that everyone said would be a test for them, trying to stop the run and a team that used all sorts of deception. and from the stands, it looked to me like they were doing a good job of running on the pack....the first two series that is. then adjustments were made and the wolfpack pulled away. now everyone is questioning whether or not they can stop a passing attack. the question no one is asking is can anyone stop our passing attack? rivers leads the nation with a 202 qb rating. and if so, the backfield of the pack, while young and lacking experience, is quick and powerful, with the one (golden and brown), two (ta mclendon) punch. if it is going to turn out to be a scoring party, ill match our offense up against anyone! we have scored 165 pts to our opponents 46 pts, and avg margin of victory of 29.75 pts. now, i may be a little biased, being as how im a proud card carrying member of the amato a$$kicking club, but i dont think we are getting very much respect from the linesmakers.....but you have to earn respect, and we havent played the toughest of competition.....so make of that what you will, but my money is on the pack, by at least 10.

I have a rather large play on NCState. They simply have a better team and a better coach. TT was lucky last week against Ole Miss, as they were outplayed and outgained but benefitted from Ole Miss mistakes. I don't think it will play out that way this week, and would be absolutely amazed if TT wins this game.

Well my money is on Tech one of the best at home ATS the last 8 years they are 30-16-1 at home. 9-3 on the 2nd of back to back home games. State has only played on Artificial grass 5 times ever but they are 4-1 ATS.

Miami of ohio should destroy Kent one of my top plays. Kent has no defense and they have only played Ohio State a very good opponent but lost by 34. Miami on the other hand since 1990 have outscored Kent 432-141 that is un real, they have also played North Carolina, Iowa, and LSU much stiffer tests and they played with all of them look for them to roll easy here
