My cousin(Laynce Nix) got called up yesterday by the Texas Rangers. He's taking Kevin Mench's spot and will get some playing time in the outfield.

Scott Podsednik is a west, texas native and a damn good friend of mine. He graduated high school 1 year ahead of me. All this guy needed was a shot and I don't know of any ball player more deserving of the success he has accomplished this year. We hope and pray he keeps up the great work. He is truly a class act. Once again, no relatives, but my uncle coached Trot Nixon in high school (RF BoSox) and I've had the pleasure of meeting him before. Extremely nice guy who gives my fiance and myself his personal seats at Fenway whenever we are in town. He is truly a great guy and a class act.
