Anyone have reconstructive ankle surgery?

Going in next Friday. They're going to cut my heel bone and move it 1/2 inch and screw it back in. Remove the damaged and worn out ligament that runs under my heel. Then cut my foot in 2 places and add cadaver bone wedges to align my foot to where it's suppossed to be. Last they're going to reroute the tendons that control my 4 small toes to help support the ankle.

8 weeks non weight bearing. That's going to be tough.

My wife got around just fine when she broke her foot and wasn't allowed to apply weight on it.
