Anyone have a listing of the countries the last 20 Popes came from? Perhaps I can find some trends.

I believe Jean Paul II was the first non Italian pope since about 1000 AD. So the only Italian pope nominee is Re.

Still rumour has it that the Latin world wants a Pope from outside Europe which means it may go to someone like Maradiago or Hoyas.

In any case I have little respect for Catholicism given their cover-ups with Priests sexually abusing young boys and of course their refusal to allow women to use birth control. Hell if my wife of 11 years and I had to have a kid every time we had sex I'd have 3 kids by now
