he keeps calling me on my cell phone(have no idea how he got the #) giving me free plays and so far hes 3-0 and he says hes got some good info on tonites game. Now i havent answered my cell phone so he leaves me a voice mail saying hes Marty or Monty Gold. Anyone hear of this guy.. Says hes 68 yrs old and he resurrects people from the dead meaning he gets your but out of a hole from gambling.. Just want to know if anyone has dealt with this guy. Probably got my # from a sportsbook i signed up for.

when i get those calls, i just tell them i quit betting and they hang up. i rarely get calls anymore because, i guess, i have been downgraded or removed from a lot of lists.
when home improvement companies call to "give me a free estimate", i just tell them that i rent and they hang up too.
solicitors trying to switch my long distance? i tell them my wife works for at&t.
or, i just set the phone down on my desk and wait for it to start beeping to alert me to put it back on the hook.
when i move next month i am getting an "unpublished" number. maybe that'll slow them down for a few months.

Ask to be put on their 'do not call' list. Seriously, I went on a rampage for about two weeks where everytime they called, I would stop them 3 words into their pitch and ask them to be put on their do not call list. They do it, because they have to. If you ask to be put on their list and they call back you can win an automatic judgement against them in court according to the new law.

yeah, I tell those guys to take me off their calling list. They have to do it, it's the law.

In Missouri, the Attorney Generals office has started a "No-Call" list. All telemarketers that make calls in the state have to get a copy of this list and if they call you, and you rat them out, they are up for a nice fine. I signed up two years ago. and have gotten about 2 calls/year since then. I mean, it just quit. Ought to see if your state offers this because it is worth it and doesn't cost a cent. Good Luck

Tell them you lost your job and have no money. Tell them you found religion and quit gambling. Tell them you are disabled. Or better yet - tell the to f-off and never call you again or you will report them to whatever appropriate government or state agency handles this crap.
They didnt bury me yyz because i didnt play any of his plays although he did go 3-1. I dont answer my cell phone if the Caller ID doesnt know whose calling so i will just let him call or maybe answer the phone and ask him if he wants my plays. It will cost him 100 dollars per week i will tell him. If he doesnt agree then i will probably go on a tirade where some of you folks just might here me talking to him although yall probably live hundreds of miles away.

let them give their spill
then tell them that you are very busy but you are interested in what they are selling.
then tell them that you can't talk at the moment but tell them to give you their home phone numbers and you will give them a call later on in the evening..say around nine or so!!

I always tell solicitors " I'm having some sex right now, can you call back later? I'll be done in a little while. Most don't know what to say.
