Just qualified today for a national fgolf tournament down there in October, need some hotel advice. Coming in just for 3 nights would like a decent place. How big is " Lake Buena Vista" though? An Expedia search brings up 40 hotels, can any of them be too far a drive from these courses?

Lake Buena Vista is relatively small in area, but densely populated with hotels, motels, restaurants, etc. Any hotel there is close to the couses, but you can also stay at any place on Internation drive which is only 15 min. drive and is a little cheaper.

Both courses are decent from the tips, easy from up tees, narrow in spots and the greens can have some tough pin placements.

Good Luck in your tourney...

ace,

I played in the Buick Scramble Championship last year and it was a very good time. We played the Palm, Magnolia, and Celebration courses.

The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes was where registration took place. I would stay there of all of the host hotels. There are shuttles that travel from all of the host hotels, and were very easy to use. I think they ran every half hour to and from the courses.

It is a well run event, you will enjoy yourself.

Good luck.
