Have heard some very mixed reviews so far...

I know it can never live up to the book, as in the case of DaVinci Code, but is it worth seeing?

Did they drastically change anything from the book? I hate  when they take wild liberties from the book version.

Better than DaVinci Code or no? I didnt hate that movie like quite a few good, but that cause my expectation were low. Still just cant accept Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon.

that's funny lance because i just saw it & liked it alot better than the davinci code....

+1

i liked it way better than davinci code movie. also liked the book angels and demons better as well.

i never pictured Tom Hanks either when reading. can't think of an actor I did. Maybe more of a Harrison Ford type.

i loved the movie up to the point where the monk, grabbed the anti-matter bomb, ran to the helicopter, flew straight up into the stratosphere.. then parachuted back to the exacct spot where he took off, just before the bomb went off..:SIB

Did they change anything major from the book? That's always something I hate.

I, too, enjoy the book A&D more than DaVinci.

This is actually an improvement on the book, where Robert Langdom climbed into the helicopter with the Camerlengo and had to make do with a windshield tarp to serve as his parachute when he jumps. ..

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the movie a 7 which is a slight improvement over DaVinci Code. On the other hand, both books were top notch.
