The Ladies are back and Clive is a happy man ;)
Centrebet have priced up and may well be the only ones but there may be a bit of value in playing the Numbers 1 and 2 on the Euro Order of Merit last year - Carriedo and Pettersen - both surprisingly quoted at 140/1 :eek:

Ian,

This event is being played at the Royal Pines Golf Resort which is just down the road from where I live.

The local media are basically turning it into a head to head matchup between Webb and Sorenstam and most of the Aussie books have them both less than 2-1 to win.

I agree that Carriedo and Pettersen are well over the odds at 140-1. I am going to have something small on each of them to place at 35-1.

:)

Eric - was reading this week that Webb has struggled to get in a lot of golf lately because of the wet weather where she lives?

Gotta love having a wager on the big dogs in women's golf :p

Didn't manage to post before tee off, but managed a few small wagers;
Petterson at 140/1

and rather more sensibly;

Teske 20/1 who has the course form and ability to beat the big two should they be a little rusty

Scranton 40/1 who played well here when this was an LPGA event and she has been down under getting married, so she will not need to acclimatise, and as she's in the veteran category, one assumes that she has been practising golf since the big day!
