after thinking about this, i figured out that i could test it myself.....DUH....LOL
and you are so right, KotysDad .... i blocked one of my own aol addys, and my hotmail addy, and then tried sending this user a mail from each of them.... AOL user trying to send a mail, just gets a pop up box right away, telling them that the user is not accepting mail from them..... the hotmail user took a bit longer to get notified by returned mail, but it says right in in that it was because they have been blocked, it doesn't just send their mail back to them with no explanation. that was the thing i really need to avoid, as i don't trust this *hotmailer* any further than i could throw her, if i were to do something like that......
if it weren't for 3 people that i acutally enjoy hearing from on hotmail, it would be a PERFECT way to eliinate 50% of my SPAM, tho, (by blocking the entire domain, instead of just specific users) and i think blocking yahoo would eliminate about another 25%, and THAT one i can do
thanks again for the info, KD
