Input if you please.......

Is this frustrated Nuggets team the play @ -7'??

Even though:

-Van Exel wants out and has all but said his current teammates suck........complaining the organization won't bring in better talent and he can't wait to get McDyess back in the lineup.

-McDyess is still out with a knee

-Coming off a 4 loss road trip

-Issel's racially insensitivity remark targeted at drunken Hispanic fan in Charlotte.....expressed his frustration in a publicly unacceptable manner. We won't see him in the house tonight.

Kiki Vandeweghe must want to suit up and go play himself....rather than deal with all this frustration.

However, Memphis is horrible and losing their big man Wright can't help their "lost" cause this evening.

Van Exel has been true to his word and is still playing hard. However, tonight's "Boo Birds" in Denver won't make his return home a welcome one after this weekend's comments.

It's a no brainer the Nuggets are the better team here.......the problem comes when ya go capp'n in the FRUSTRATION factor.

I don't have a clear answer but lean to the Nugget against this dismal Memphis team.

Somebody help talk me onto the Nuggets or a pass on this one. "There's Nuggets in them there hills"......is it just "fools gold" tonight? ez

i would stay away form the nuggets unless the players are tired of issel and play extremly well tonite for the ast coach who they all like--nuggets are getting more negative support from locals than ever before--they need to clean house

For what it's worth EZ I'm not touching the side due to exactly what you commented on BUT I'm leaning heavily towards the UNDER on this game.....good luck.

It seems like teams often play well in their first game after adversity. I can't believe that idiot heckling fan had the nerve to come on radio and demand an apology. Maybe Issel didn't handle it well, but hecklers dish it out; they should take it.

I agree Valuist. Didn't the very same thing
happen last year with a purported walkout
by the players?
They settled things before the game and
covered nicely in a convincing win!
Check me if I'm wrong, but I like Denver
in this one.

Did you hear CHARLES on NBA HT show last nite??? He said "ISSEL should've done what I did when I was playing, go on up in the stands and take care of business!"** that's not an exact quote, but something to that effect. The other guys didn't know what to say to that, it was funny seeing them speechless til the commercial break.

I'm not sure how to read this game though... the team may come together big time, and many of the guys may want to PROVE Nick wrong and come up big also. MEMPHIS has been playing much better, but losing Wright will hurt big time.

hawkeye....I hear ya....BUT like Valuist and kaoboy my lean is based on this "team in turmoil theory" of mine.

Over the past 10 days we've seen a Bulls' HC wanting to be fired and a Sonic's HC publicly rip'n players and guess what........

-The day the news breaks da Bulls play big time and spank the Rockets!

THEN

-The verbally trashed as "non-pro-fessional" Sonic's go out and get a nice cover over the Pistons.

kevin...GL on the under if it's a play.
---------------------------------------------

One more thing Valuist....I agree on that heckler situation. Demanding respect when you give none seems a bit outa place in my estimation! ez

if the nuggets decide to run all nite they will cover--and if van ex is on tey will cover--good luck--but they still ned to clean house--the fans will not back them anymore-the biggest joke in denver

Thanks for your thoughts on Denver RC....I missed Sir Charle's comments as I channel surfed over to the KU/Princeton game. LOL

NBA HT SHOW needed a little BTO......."Taken Care of Business" bumper music to help get 'em to commercial!
