Washington at DALLAS
Most people are passing on this game, and/or laughing it off questioning how you could bet such a game between winless teams... well, I think there's a definite play in this game. I have DAL +3.5 and 4 right now on live teasers from yesterday, and I like my position. I feel DALLAS is far superior to the team that resides in DC right now. Granted, WASH has alot of veterans and are probably looking for a game to beat up on someone after facing four tough teams, but their defense has been terrible, allowing average OFFENSES to average almost 35 a game. Some of these points have come from turnovers that Special Teams and the pathetic offense has given up, but still, 34.7 PPG???
DALLAS on the other hand has played four potential playoff teams, and played them tough. They've held two good running teams (RAIDERS & TAMPA) to less than average games, and have been competitive outside the SUN NITE DEBACLE in PHILLY. EVEN in that game they came back late to put up some points. I believe they can and will score in this game at will vs WASH. EMMITT will go for over 100 tonite, maybe his only chance all year, and WRIGHT will play action and keep the SKINS on their heels. WASH will have to abandon the run as DALLAS will snuff DAVIS, thus giving the reins to ex COWPOKE BANKS to try and beat the team that cut him. I think TONY will try TOO MUCH and force some INT's that will lead to more points for DALLAS.
I think DALLAS wins this game handily. I wouldn't be surprised if its not 14-10 by HT, as both teams are weak on Special Teams and DEFENSE overall, but by the 3rd qtr, I see DALLAS pulling away and winning 27-17 in what should be an entertaining game.
