been one of those days read it wrong and had a brain cramp
I was sitting here watching ASU so was thinking about them.
Like U of A also but Oregon is tough at home. How do you think they will do without Walton?

I think everyone has overrated what Walton means to this team. . . he is a big loss, but the fact that Gardner has been cold of late is the real problem. Gardner has to be on tonight for Arizona to have a chance.
I just don't understand this line at all. . . figured Oregon to be a 5 point favorite. They are riding a 23 game home winning streak.

Yea i agree with you Gardner is key but he is a very good player i bet he will step it up tonight with this being a big game.
Wish they had the game on TV should be a fun game to watch can't believe it is not on anywhere at least that i can find.

Fox Sports Net made a very stupid mistake when picking Arizona State/Oregon State over this marquee matchup but the reason they did it was that they ahve a contract to show every Pac 10 team at least once during the season. Unfortunately they forgot one of these scrub teams and had to switch to this game in order to comply with their contract terms.
Still don't understand why they couldn't have picked another game to switch because this is one of the best in the Pac 10 all season long. Crazy move.

Line is up to 3.5 at one of my books and it looks like public is siding with Oregon. Arizona has more depth and better athletes and I expect them to control the glass. However, Oregon's 3 point shooting and homecourt are tough to overcome. Arizona has defended the 3 well this year holding opponents under 30% overall so I am leaning toward them.
That is a funny stat cause I guarantee you that Arizona doesn't guard against the 3 very well. . . they have been very lucky. Their defense focuses on collapsing on the inside which often leads to open outside shooters.

Well, had a good night in college football. . . will go ahead and put down one tenth of my winnings from the Orange Bowl on Arizona +2.5. . . so basically I'm just playing for fun.
Good luck to anybody who plays this one. . . if I was playing serious money, I would definitely take Oregon, but can't bet against my own team for the little amount that I am willing to play on this one.

Nickelback, I bit for Oregon -2 small, however I am still exciting about hitting my bowl of the year with USC. Good luck to you with whatever you did. Agree, we have osu/asu on here late nite here in the 'burgh too. No need to stay up now.

Luke is not starting and not expected to play at all even though he wants to. Not sure if anyone cares. . . personally I don't think it really matters either way because it might be better if he doesn't play if not 100%

Damn. . . now Bynum is reported as being left in Tucson for some reason so Gardner MUST have a big game tonight. Oregon side is looking better all the time.
Gardner once again playing as bad as ever. . . Arizona down 27 to 22 as Oregon is beginning to hit easy 3's that the Cats are not defending very well.

41 to 37 Oregon at the half. . . Oregon shooting the lights out from three point land. Arizona turning the ball over 11 times. . . this is gonna sound like a home town play, but I would take the Cats to settle down and win this game. Oregon probably won't shoot the ball quite as well as they did from long range. One concern is Jackson for Oregon as he is a monster getting to a lot of balls off Oregon misses.

59 to 59 with 12 minutes to go. . . the big story is the foul discrepancy: Oregon already at six team fouls, Arizona ZERO. If my Cats hit their damn free throws which that have been known to struggle with this year, they should be fine.
pathetic that this game isn't on ESPN or Fox sports net. Any update Nickelback. From watching the scors change it looks like the effing Beavers are trying to give away the game.:shrug:
