for a few reasons:

1) Ark is 3-0 SU in true road games, at Tulsa, Memphis, and Auburn, plus played very well in 2 neutral site come-from-ahead losses versus Illinois and OK State -- I see all of those teams as better than the outfit they play today, LSU

2) 4 days of rest, with multiple days of rest after this game, means LSU should get Ark's full attention (no letdown or lookahead looming)

3) Ark has an RPI of 14, with a 10-4 record (4 losses vs Wake, OK, OK St, and ILL -- no shame there) against the 8th strongest schedule in the country

compare that to LSU's RPI of 164 and 9-4 record against the 294th (294th ?!?!) strongest schedule in the country

4) When LSU steps up in competition, they get beat -- Miami (FL) and Alabama (no shame in the 2-pt loss at Bama, but a loss nonetheless)

Though I was initially scared by LSU coming home, standing at 0-1 in the SEC and wanting desperately (I imagine) to avoid an 0-2 start, with a week off, I ultimately like Ark's talent, winning on the road, and anticipate a little LSU rust.

Ark easier than expected -- Arkansas 80, LSU 70.

Good luck!
