Just as part of my look at tonight's game, I noticed that Temple has been outscored--just in the first quarter-- by a total of 37 points (40-3) in their first four games this year. That number is inflated by their game against Oklahoma (outscored by 17). But first quarters show a pretty clear trend--Temple has not been inspiring in the first quarter. Even in their win last week against Utah State, Temple was scoreless in 1Q, and against Navy--probably the best comparative game--Temple was outscored 9-0 in first quarter. I have already played Army for game, but think I will also throw a 2x on the first quarter as Army is laying only 3. If the Knights win the coin toss, I really like my odds, but this seems like a decent value play regardless. Army's defense did give up 7 in 1Q to Lehigh of all teams in their opener. But they held their two recent opponents scoreless in first quarter.

Also Temple defensive players are going against an offense they haven't seen or practiced against except there own 2nd string or scout team in practice . If Army wins the coin flip they could use so much time on the clock with their ball control power offense. Could be a good play 1st quarter of -3 ... good luck Think Army wins and covers but 1st quarter score is very interesting . Will put **'s on 1st quarter -3 But think best bet is the Army -13 FAU,Lehigh and Rice couldn't stop Army and Again don't think Temple D can either. Army's strength is rushing the ball and Temple's biggest weakness is stopping the run.
