Texas -38.5 over Miss St ****
Ewers is questionable but his back up Manning could be better. . Miss St " is breaking in a new QB" after Shapen hurt his shoulder. He is a freshman and will face a tough Texas D. Their top RB has 158 yds rushing,Miss St coach knows Texas since he coached last yr at OU . But this is his 1st year as a head coach. Miss St was preseason picked 15th in the SEC. New coach new QB vs the No 1 team in the country Think Longhorns aren't over confident and with Manning steering the ship think they put on a stampede on the bulldogs. Baxter Texas RB is out but Blue is back and Weisnart and Gibson are waiting in the wings to replace the starters . There is such a little drop off because they have so many blue chip 3-4 stars kids on the bench waiting and itching to play. Think Texas OL dominates the line of scrimmage and with Manning under center its another blowout win. Last year when Miss St played the tough teams in their conference they were beaten big LSU 41-7,Tex AM 51-10 and Bama 40-17. Also think Texas Defense stops rookie QB and shuts him down. Texas wrs Bond and Golden have big days because Bulldogs won't put pressure on Texas QB. Ewers if he plays is the real deal but seeing Manning play is even more amazing. Has big time arm and is mobile ,, Think Texas wins big and shuts down Bulldogs 55-7 .
