Let me be the first to stick my neck out. This weeks stand-outs, according to my capping process, are Watney 30-1, Perry 65-1, Z. Johnson 55-1, O'Hair 32-1, and Snedeker 75-1. Betfair prices. What a boring group of regulars. And my can't lose pick is Zach.

The good news is---the big chalkies don't send me either. When Zach gets into the zone, rarely, he can win anywhere against anyone. That's encouraging. Let's just hope this is the week.

Tommy, are you nuts? What! Didn't you have Senden last week? Yes. Didn't he win for you? Yes. What's the deal then? Here's the deal. Snedeker is younger, scores a little better, plays this layout a little better, and is playing better right now. Snedeker is about a geeky looking fucker though, isn't he? The only one more geeky is JJ Henry.
Senden, thanks for winning over Cink last week. Easy win. Cink gets cut. However, Big John tanks his fourth round. He does this a lot. Snedeker tends to mail in the fourth round too. This m/u could win or lose by who and how much the last round gets wasted.

I would certainly make Allenby the favourite in this matchup. Mahan did win the Phoenix Open last month, but his best finish this year apart from that event has been 27th. That can't compare with Allenby who has finished ahead of Mahan in every common event in the last six months apart from the Phoenix Open (Allenby finished 8th). In terms of their form in Florida, the difference is even more striking: the last time that Mahan finished ahead of Allenby in a Florida event was back in 2007. So, with Allenby in great form, particularly early in events - he has finished 5 of his last 10 events in the top-10 after the 1st round and 6 of his last 10 events in the top-10 after the second round - he should beat Mahan with ease.

His low scores had been due to "making some great saves" and "making some good putts", but the fatigue and the lack of confidence will surely catch up with his during the week. Perry recovered from a poor start and should be able to take advantage of the predicted under-par performance from Stenson today.
