Wow! What a match today. Hope others on here had a chance to watch. Exciting to the very end. The match had everything and both teams played their hearts out. You could tell they were exhausted as multiple guys collapsed on the field after the final whistle. I would say it would wise to look to fade both in their upcoming FA Cup matches as they both have a short turnaround before facing each other again for the EFL Cup Semis a week from today. Chelsea play @ Norwich City on Saturday and Arsenal @ Nottingham Forest Sunday. Looks like a combination of two tired teams playing in look-ahead spots against lower-tier teams that they might take for granted.

Anybody else have opinions on these two teams?

Also liking Liverpool a lot can Everton in FA Cup play on Friday. My only concern is they have Man City on deck but they?ve got a full 8 days off before that game so they should be focused, especially knowing they are out of contention for the league title (FA Cup next best thing?). Everton has not played well recently and the new coach ?bump? appears to have worn off with Allardyce the past two or three games.

Welcome any thoughts or opinions in this one as well.

We'll likely see both rest their studs, and get some other guys out there. I'll look at unders bc of that, and also look at taking goals

Vig, thanks for the response! Which do you think is the better play? Unders or the goal line on the dogs?

Well, since I posted this a week ago, Chelsea drew with Norwich 0-0 and Arsenal suffered a shocking 2-4 defeat to Nottingham Forest in FA cup play. Looks like my assessment after the game was pretty accurate. The question now is how does that play into todays EFL Cup match? These sides are on a run of three straight draws against one another and I suspect we could see another one today. Guessing on a 1-1 final, although I could see Chelsea scrapping this one as they are clearly the stronger side and playing at home. The goal line at -1 seems a little to high, however. I expect a more defensive match between these two sides today, with goals harder to come by than last weeks tie.

Welcoming other opinions. Pretty close to kickoff...
