The Oakland Athletics tonight look to improve on MLB's best interleague record when they play the final of a three game set at Florida.

The A's were 16-2 last season against the National League and own a .632 record since interleague's inception in 1997. Overall this year they are 33-24 including 14-16 away. Ted Lilly gets the call for the A's tonight and the leftie hasn't won since May 13 when he beat Detroit. In fact his three most recent starts have been against very mediocre opposition yet he has given up 11 earned runs in 17 1/3 innings. Lilly has two career starts against Florida and is 0-1, 7.27 ERA.

Oakland's last five have all played Over including the first two games in this series which have resulted in 11 and 15 runs being scored.

The Marlins are 27-33 overall and 16-14 at home. They have scored 5 and 13 runs against the A's in the first two games of this series despite facing Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder so you can expect them to look forward to facing a starter who has never posted a winning season. Florida will counter with rookie right-hander Dontrelle Willis who looks to improve on a promising 3-1, 3.27 ERA start to his career.

We recommend a play Over tonight's low total.
