On the course!
This wonderful site has seen thousands of people come and go. I've been blessed to have been here from pretty close to the beginning. As we age, it seems sports handicapping isn't as relevant as it used to be for quite a few of us. Talk of starting out in the workplace, and raising kids, has turned to talk of retirement and kids setting out on their own.

Now, we get threads about joint replacement, and failing health, but...that's where several of us are at in our lives! It's amazing to think about how long MJs has been a part of our lives.

I have met probably 100 members of this site, and met around 20 on multiple occasions. It's been great getting to know all of them. I know many of you think it's dumb to set out to meet strangers from the internet, but I have never been disappointed to meet anyone from here! It's great to turn a screen name into a friend.

As in our own world, the MJ world gets turned upside down, too. BahamaMamma, Kosar, KRC, The Boys, and several more, have passed away. Several more will follow. It's what happens.

With the holidays here, I wish all of you guys the best, and if you get the chance, get together with a few "Jackers" at some point. The only regret you will have, is that you waited.

Cheers!

Well stated Eric. And may all of you get the chance to have an extraordinary wine touch your lips and tongue, just to understand the differences. You will think of this comment at that point, and say, "now I understand". Or maybe not. :mj07:

Maybe we should have a wine tasting Madjack get together, and tie it in with a Bourbon/Whiskey tasting. Now that would be fun. Everyone buy a bottle or two of something they have never had or wanted to try, and we have fun with it. Yeah, we are getting older.

Great group of core guys here for years! I hate I never got to attend a golf outing but the timing was just always bad job wise. I have met several guys from here and all seem top notch.
