Nice job this year, ridle--been interesting observing your methods. Adds another tangent of betting on outrights to forum. I always thought picking numerous long shots would be toughest road to profit--but as always the key lies in picking right one-regardless of method.

Cheers for the encouraging words, I appreciate them -I'd love to limit the amount of long-shots picked but those I'm taking are simply too much of value in comparison to my estimated chances for them - and this year this approach worked very well - have to say my main inspiration was Whalers Van De Velde pick a long while ago (400/1 for the French Open) :hail
