wcb, here's how I see it. Russ Ortiz is 6-5 lifetime vs. LA with a pretty high 5.45 era, a fact conducive to both the Over and a LA upset. LA counters with Scott Mullen, who has yet to face the braves meaning 2 possibilites. Either 1. he'll get smokes and if so, hello Mr. Over. But he could give the Braves problems since they have never seen him and that gives our LA +211 play a good possibility.

Yeah, but I already rode that game off as a loss after SD tied it at 2. I'm very happy to see Philly lose the game OUTRIGHT since they couldn't beat the lowly Padres by 2.

Mesa is clearly the worst closer in the game. Benitez used to be but he's now a set-up guy (even scarier)

Mesa should not be pitching at this level, let alone trusted to do anything but MAYBE (and as a disclaimer, I say MAYBE) pick his own nose without supervision (and 1:3 odds he'll still screw that one up)
