I have a link in my pac-10 post...but for those who havent heard...asu announced andrew walter...a solid arm...is sidelined with a strained knee suffered at practice on wednesday. He is third string for the sdsu game. Chrsitanson will get his 3rd straight start for asu at qb.....makes the under look like an incredibly appetitizing wager

With that into consideration I like SDSU to win this game even more. With two solid games under their belt I think they are due to break out that potent offense they have been tooting. SDSU QB (Hall) looked really good last week against Colorado and is starting to feel more comfortable with the new system and no huddle offense they are running.

ASU's defense is a lot better than Colorado's. I loved ASU in this game, but with Chad starting, i still like it, but not as much. I thought he was going to be a stud this season, but he hasn't shown me anything with his arm. He can run, no doubt, but thats what running backs are for. I loved ASU yesterday, but now its only going to be a 1 unit play. Dont forget, Andy Goodenough played under SDSU's coach LAST YEAR in Junior College. Andy has been spending a lot of time with the defensive coordinator this past week telling him about SDSU schemes. With ASU's speed on defense, plus SDSU only scoring 7 on us last year, when our defense was horrible, and with Andy Goodenough's information about the coaching, ASU should win by about 20. But, I just cant put my faith in Chad right now, wish I could, but I cant. Well see I guess well see;)

yes- chad is a running qb at this point in his devolopment.....asu features 3 rb's who are all above average d1 running backs..asu's game plan is going to be run run run and run....this game is my under play of the year...two years ago if any of you remember espn televised this game..10-7 asu won...last year 38-7..this year i dont see sdsu scoring...especially with the terrible special teams that the aztecs have..could socre 1 or two td's tops...asu d is too fast

as long as SD state does not throw interceptions they will win. Arizona state has the defense that can create turnovers. This is my only concern about San Diego State..

Agree with you EricG. Hall has looked great since they started running the open offense midway through the Fresno game. I think it might be kind of a bold statement saying that SD St. might not score....Yes the ASU D looked good last week, but CFU didn't help their own cause by having 17 penalties putting them in a lot of 3rd and long situations, the main reason they were 0-11 on third down.
