- - I was kicking myself last Friday for not being on board, when I have to believe that with any due diligence I would have been all over it. Turns out my lack of attention wasn't as costly as it appeared destined to be . . . It's almost a rule with me that I shun any of the geezers on the Champions Tour if they overachieved for a stellar performance in the prior week, but I don't think that's a proper characterization at all in this instance regarding the winless O'Meara.
