going with the braves today. there are a lot of big favorites today that i think will win but have found a reason why i think they may lose. i.e OAK-don't trust zito, and oak can't hit lefties. NYY- until johnson doesn't get smoked, how can i lay 220? HOU-although i love oswalt, that lineup and that bullpen are capable of blowing anything. Anyway, the braves have dropped 2 one run games to the nationals. They have their ace going tonite and i think he will dominate a weak washington lineup. Armas goes for the Nats and he has been gettign hit hard lately. Plus, washington bullpen has been taxed the last couple of days with Majewski,Cordero pitching a lot. Braves pen although horrible, has its key pitchers fresh with Reitsma and Kolb gettign the night off yesterday. Hopefully the pen won't be needed and Smoltz goes the distance. Braves did not look happy last night after the loss. going with ATL -150

well, we got lucky with this play, although the rested vs. non rested key pitchers in the bullpen ended up winning it for us. looks like the line correctly dropped some prior to the game as smoltz was unimpressive. be back later with today's pick
