NEW YORK (AP) -- Atlanta Hawks guard Jason Terry was suspended by the NBA for one game without pay Sunday after he elbowed Indiana's Anthony Johnson during a loss to the Pacers.
Terry will miss Atlanta's game against New Orleans on Monday.
Johnson made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 22.6 seconds left in overtime Saturday night, then tied up Terry for an apparent jump ball. Frustrated, Terry swung his left elbow at Johnson, grazing his chin.
The officials tossed Terry from the game, and Johnson hit a couple of free throws to finish off the 103-99 win.
