To be fair I know absolutely nothing about Johnson. I'll assume he owns a couple tennis racquets and at least plays occasionally on the weekends. I do however know that Donald Young is the worst top 50 player in the history of tennis.... He's a joke....he's a dog against any top 250 player and a big dog at that. Almost August and he has two wins this year and he's not hurt....he's just an assclown....perhaps he should straighten the hat and learn to play tennis...and if this Johnson guy even has a pulse he has a real shot.....

Johnson set the NCAA record for most consecutive wins and set a record for most NCAA titles.

Guy was maybe the best to ever play College Tennis. No question he is the Top 10 best to ever play college tennis, yes, ever.

He has a big serve and volley game (when he uses it) and has potential to crack the Top 100. I don't think he'll crack the Top 75 ever, but we shall see. In fact I think he'll make it into the Top 100 for a bit, but I do not see him staying there.

His footwork is bad, but he's got lots of hype and financial backing so he'll be around for a while.

I agree that his odds against Young are very tempting.

72 match winning streak is absolutely insane. One of the best NCAA records you will ever hear of. Stunning that he won that many matches in a row.

One thing is for sure when you are used to winning all the time it will help your confidence. Of course now his NCAA career is done, so we will see what happens.

The USTA will be giving this guy Wild Cards like crazy so he will avoid qualies, which is a massive advantage. And I am sure the USTA will give him a Wild Card into US Open.

Bottom line, the guy has hype, has the USTA kissing his ass with money and has Wild Cards at his disposal. Pretty sweet deal if ya ask me.

Note: Johnson snagged a lot of USC pussy in his 4 years at USC. Now that he is out on tour he may have a letdown. I doubt the USC campus will be traveling with him.

young sux as advertised. johnson has the most non-existent backhand in the history of tennis. decent serve when he can hit a high percentage which he can't.

just a bad display of tennis.

good for my pocketbook though. whoever set that line needs their head examined and probably should be fired.

Yep.......I forgot to mention about his backhand. Although in most of his NCAA matches he served and volleyed a lot. Of course that is a lost art in the men's game, so I guess he has scrapped that strategy.

as for wedneday, gonna be playing sock against johnson. sock actually has a bigger serve than johnson and there is zero chance he has a worse backhand. currently at +129....gonna wait and see

James Blake is a super nice guy, I remember hanging out with him at a tournament. No ego at all and an all around great guy.

Oh and a newsflash Blake is playing that dick Harrison, not Isner:facepalm:


Note: Sock has had a billion Wild Cards, guy is more spoiled the kegray at a Bennateau convention. Sock has not lived up to the hype at all. Yes he is still young but the USTA has been licking his ass for years, time to cut the "apron strings" and give Wild Cards to those more deserving.

Blake always gave maximum effort with not the most talent... I always liked him...glad to hear he's a nice guy..

I guess I've found another guy kick hates....

Oh and Blake's brother Thomas is also a super nice guy. Those brothers are 100 percent class. I met James Blake 1 week after he signed an endorsement contract worth millions. You'd never know it. He actually took interest in me and asked me about my matches. James was 100 times better then I ever was and wasn't cocky at all. A complete gentleman. Some guys make 10 grand and walk around like they are the shit. They win a tennis match and they think you should bow down to them. Ryan Harrison falls into this category, he is a douche. He's not like the Williams sisters, but he's in that range. Harrison is a dick, trust me.

By the way Isner is a nice guy, I have never met him but I know some guys on the tour (coaches, etc.) and they all say he's a good dude.





And they ALL get top quality snatch, even the assholes.
