okay dude i have talked to Wally who is a good dude and Spiros right hand man He told me he needs your account number to verify this and fix the wagers that need to be fixed. So email him at custservice@thegreek.com attention WALLY and tell him your situation and account number and he will personally look after you.

OLYMPIC is one of the best books in the business and I have never in my life heard a no pay if it was warranted NEVER. These guys are the most honourable in the industry and if they owe you plain and simple they will pay you.

My guess is that they thought for some reason they were placed after the race had gone off. I would check the race times to be sure.

Otherwise, I agree with BP about Oly.

** Actually I just answered my own question if you would bother to read their very short rule list. Like it or not the rule clearly states:

"A timestamp will be placed on all horses wagers. All horse wagers must be placed prior to two (2) minutes before the race starts. "

So thats the rule. You were not within two minutes of post time according to drf.com. Sorry to rain on your parade.

But gibber, before you go posting off about books and badmouthing them, perhaps you should take 30 seconds to read their rules. Before you go calling them mother f'ers, you should take the time to figure out if its their fault, or if its your fault. In this case you clearly were not within the boundries of their rules, and after all they are THEIR RULES. If you dont like them, go elsewhere.

They are highly reliable and perhaps the most reliable book I have dealt with. So dont slander them for following rules that are clearly stated on their site just because you didnt know them.

yes ive checked on this.

the problem is olympic clock is off...

i watch every race live!

and get my bet in a good 6 minutes before post...

and the time i have and the time olympic has are different

also, alot i bets ive gotten in are for example at 1:32 and 30 seconds..

but ive still been pushed on races that start at 1:34. i assume b/c of the 30seconds... now then when you check a race time at drf. it does not tell the seconds...

so if the race started at 1:34 and 50 seconds that should be a winning ticket.???

it doesnt matter anyway b/c im useing a book now that you can wager until the race starts (reak time!!)

a full two minutes is a joke!

I am on their site right now comparing it to the US Naval Observatory clock on my browser, they are withing 9 seconds of each other.

If you dont like a sites rules, fine. If you dont play there, fine. But dont call them unreliable or criticize their service for following their rules. All I have seen in your two posts is a book clearly following their rules, and a customer unhappy with the rules after getting ruled against because of said rules.

No hard feelings, this isnt personal, I just dont like to see companies of any type slandered for following policies they clearly outline.

also their rules are phukn ridiculous! if you knew anything about horse raceing you would know this.. odds and info change all the way down to post time. and this info is important...

getting your bet in early is not smart when betting the ponies..

I am not arguing with anything you say gib. So stop with the personal shit. They are not my book, just one of many that has been good to me. But no I dont play the horses online, never have, but I know plenty about the business.

Yes I agree with you, I agree the rule is shitty, so what does that prove?

Did you or did you not know the rule when you made the bets? If you did and made them anyway, then sorry. If you didnt, thats different. But this has happened a few times to you unfortunately, it seems to me at some point you would have looked into it and moved on if you didnt like the rules rather than continuing to push bets.

Like I said, its a shitty rule. You are right, you SHOULD be able to bet right up to post time. But its their rule, and they have followed it to the T in this case, nor have they tried to hide from you.

Good luck to you with your new book gib. Hey man, like I said, this isnt personal so lets not make it so. I want everyone here to be winning regardless of where they play.
