Auburn, Bowl??

Anyone heard what bowl Auburn will be in?Assuming Georgia beats Ark. like they are supposed to. Wish we were playing Georgia in the SEC championship. I bet the Bulldogs are glad they are playing Ark. instead of Auburn.

Gatorhater, Its pretty much a lock that Tommy and the gang are going to the Capital One bowl in Orlando, formely the Citrus. I believe we will be playing Penn State which should be a great match up. Go Tigers!! and "War Eagle"

Ps--and you are definatley correct about the dawgs being scared to play us...we would have beat them by two touchdowns, the way Jason Campbell has got the offense rolling!!

You would be playing in the sec championship except for 1 big reason. Arkansas kicked the crap out of Auburn,at Auburn. And I'm sure Georgia is glad they are playing the HOGS.Especially since they just beat Auburn a couple of weeks ago.Team's through the years enjoy playing a team that leads the SEC in rushing and plays tough defense. I mean,maybe the dog's will take it easy on us.I just hope Matt Jones can learn something from David Greene. I sure the Hogs are very intimidated by the dogs.We are just so happy to be there.We are looking forward to having our butts kicked,then get our Independence Bowl bid. The Razorback's are looking forward to staying home on new years day watching Auburn and LSU and the like playing even though they beat them this year.This is such an honor for us,well,we haven't been this excited since we played Florida in the SEC championship. I just hope everyone will be patient and let the Hog's enjoy frolicking on the feid with a powerhouse like Georgia.I just hope our little pigs don't get hurt to bad.It would be a shame for one of these guys to miss the Independence Bowl.Why, we have been aiming for that all year.:kiss:

I am glad for the hogs. I know you all deserve it after destroying such powerhouses as la tech and miss. state. I also know that you must be real proud of the heart you showed aginst the tide. I understand that being a fan of a historic traditionally rich team such as Arkansas will in some cases bring out these type of strong emotions. Hey Gator-baiter,FYI we didn't have the privilege of playing La Tech,this year.But we did enjoy beating Miss St.,as you did.Oh, by the way how was it for you guys to tackle those powerhouse Vanderbilt Commadors, and I see how you handled West Carolina(are they div.1 ?) Oh, I almost forgot, you all looked fantastic against La Monroe,the week before you lost to Georgia. You need to do a little more research before you question the tradition of Razorback football, and another thing,if you'll check your program for the Auburn Tiger's, You coach Tommy Tuberville is an Arkie.One last thing,you need to look at the record books of your beloved Tiger's, Arkansas has done quite well vs. your boys since we joined the SEC.And while your at it refresh my memory as to how many times you've won the SEC championship game. I'm so happy you guys got a win vs. Alabama,for a change so you have something to be excited about.I mean Arkansas has owned Auburn since they joined the SEC. Well J Bird, All your statistics of the Auburn Arkansas rivalry are very impressive , I mean you must have a media guide lying right next to you. Aside from that, I will pay my respects to the pigs and make this statement---Arkansas is the only team that kicked our ass and deserved to win the game. But, at that time we had the ever disappointing Daniel Cobb quarterbacking and overall the team had not found their identity. I believe if we matched up with Ark right now it would be a very different outcome.

All I can say is,we have won 6 in a row,7 of our last 8,which did include the 20 point pounding we put on YOU . What I said was,when you've been dominated by a team,like Auburn has been by the Razorbacks.I don't think you want to put your foot in your mouth,talking about the caliber of teams WE play when last time I checked we're in the same conference. Not to mention the cupcake Western Carolina,and Louisiana Monroe's ect. that Auburn played this year. Bottom line,your arguement doesn't hold water,when you were beaten by Georgia as well as Arkansas this year.The team's that are playing in the Championship game deserve to be there.They won that right on the field this year.Quit crying over the fact that Auburn had their chance and couldn't get it done. Auburn is just alot better team now than when they played the hogs, although I know there is no room on a score card for that. Thats a tough pill to swallow. Good luck to the Hogs.
