I have just read this thread and out of curiousity I decided to find out who the 1997 q-school winner was.

After looking everywhere I know and attempting many different searches I can't find the answer anywhere. I can't even find any reference to q-school being held that year (maybe it wasn't).

It is starting to really bug me now ....

Must keep looking ....

Thanks Ravi.

Did you know that from memory or did you find the answer on a website somewhere ??

Just interested as I searched all over the place without luck and it was really starting to *&%$ me off. To make matters worse Tweed Heads GC is just down the road from where I live (although I didn't move over here until 1998).

The real question Ravi, is what became of Ashley Andrews who ran second by a shot to diaz in the 97 Aussie Q school?

Anyone got any decent sites with player profiles and past results as the official PGA site has player profiles which do not seem to have been updated for quite a while?
Thanks

Funny you should mention the past results...
Just spent an hour updating a few annoying gaps in my Aussie database...
Golfweek.com have a superb archive were you can get anything you want - I just went back to the 1999 J Walker .. it seems never-ending.
This link is to 'other tours' and has Japan, Aussie, Canadian, Sunshine, etc. in chronological order. The page number goes up in 20's (i.e. number at end of link) as you delve further back..... this link is not the start.. just a mid-point when I had to drain the snake.... enjoy!
http://www.golfweek.com/archive/article_list.asp?subcategoryID=7&authorID=&fpage=540

PS If you produce a spreadsheet for 2/3 years of Japanese results... let me know.
I'll swap you for my Aussie (1996 to 2001).

You can just get the results direct via
http://www.golfweek.com/pro/world/schedule2002.asp

It saves having to sift through their news stories.

For earlier tournament results, the best source is
http://services.golfweb.com/

which should take you back to 1995/96.

Bettingmad, if you want the Japan Tour results from the start of the 1999 season, just drop me an email. For further back you can refer to the official Japan Tour website as well as the golfweb site, but extracting the information onto a spreadsheet is a painful process.

BTW, do you have any results for the Davidoff Tour dating before the 1999 season? I haven't found a source that gives the full round-by-round scores (i.e. before the cut as well as the final scores)
