Hawkeye

There were only two games last week due to it being a split round. There is a full card of eight games kicking off tonight.

I've got a couple of system picks to come.

Kangaroos win (at least we hope, hey Pawa!)

(Got 1.67 @ Betfair earlier...1.62 @ Centrebet still I believe)

Reasonably even overall stats, but over the last 5 games the Bombers have dropped right off, av. -7 inside 50's, allow a goal every 2.83 entries! (the worst by a fair way), and only kick a goal every 4.87 entries, again worst in the AFL.
The Kangaroos certainly aren't the best team going around, but they are quite good at getting the ball first, and if they do that they should be fr too good for Essendon all over the ground.
The Kanga's have won the last 4 meetings...all as 'dogs, by 42 last year, 21, 8 & 8...and dominated last year, having 61 inside 50's to just 41!
Lloyd also played in that game, had 12 marks and kicked 2.2.

Going a bit conservative this week...can't see any spreads that jump out...but like Adelaide and Sydney, both at 1.35 or more...
...hoping for a couple of juicy totals too.

Good luck all.

St. Kilda v. Hawthorn under 172.5 (2.90) [7 units]
[3 units, 173-192 (3.00)]

A great price which gives nearly evens with the saver.
Despite their slip last round v. a red hot Crows, the Saints' D in the Dome has been good, allowing just 76 ppg in their last 10...4 of their 6 games indoors this year have been under 172 points.
Also, their last 4 games they have scored just 60, 52, 90 and 74.
Hawthorn have really struggled to score all season. Tehy haven't had more than 25 shots in a game since rd. 4, and have only averaged 71 ppg in their last 5.
They have struggled to score against the Saints in recent years, scoring just 54, 61, 90, 87 & 87 in their last 5 meetings.
Last years game was 100-54...both teams are much worse at scoring this year and Hawthorn have a better D than last year.
I'm expecting another low scorer here.

Good luck C

My boys were atrocious last night but got it done in the end!! I took em 1-39 for a little action play.
The skill level at both those clubs leaves a lot to be desired :mj07:

Pawa, system rollin' along nicely for ya mate. First time I've found a computer for a while so thought I would jump on and say G'day. 12 losses in a row for my boys leaves me only one place to be this year- happily out of the country. Nice win by your dogs yesterday also C!

Mate, cheers for the props on the dons! Not missing a thing I'm sure. As far as over here is concerned, the one month 'vacation' has just come to an end and as of tomorrow the work will all begin my friend. That is, if you classify teaching golf as a strenuous profession! lol! Stories, umm, yep, as always mate. Looking forward to seeing you guys on msn when the college and NFL swing into action. Hope all is well for yourself down there paw.
