Really don't see why everyone is on the Blue Jays here. Jays fresh off of a 9 game road trip having traveled to Tampa, LA and Colorado and have had a whopping 1 day off this month - now they fly home and have an early start on a Monday? Pretty tough scheduling if you ask me.

Meanwhile, don't look now but the DRAYS are hot, having taken 5 of 6 from the CWS and FLA Marlins at home. They got good starting pitching the past couple of days and should have a fresh pen, while the Jays' pen might be a little tired after pitching a lot this weekend. McClung pitching better of late and - while Janssen has pitched admirably, I can't see backing a rookie at -185 pitching for a tired team against a division rival playing pretty good ball. Jays getting heavy action b/c it's a day game, otherwise this would be a game that most would pass on.

I'll take the DRAYS +165 - 6 Units to win 9.9

And as always, gl, LA Burns

Right on Burns...I got them at +171, I agree with your commentary, Toronto hasn't been playing that great and should have lost to the Angels when they couldn't get that run in from third in the bottom of the 9th with no outs! Also put a little on the over 9.5.

What I don't get it why everyone is on the A's. That team has some issues, if it wasn't for home runs I don't know how they would win a single game, over 75% of there runs have come from jacks this season...easily. Yesterday they were shut out my Matt Cain, yes I will repeat that Matt mutherfing Cain. As far as the D-Rays go you won't find a team in the league that plays more differently on the road then they do at home year in and year out.

F the A's too...everyone thinks they are such a hot pick today b/c they are a dog. I say f em, they are a dog for a reason, I like the ChiSox at home as a small fave over a west coast dog on the road anyday...well maybe not if its Seattle haha!!

Isn't Matt Cain that fool that played Superman??

Tampa does suck, I just don't like the Blue Balls laying that much chalk.

Line should actually be -200 or more, but Tampa Bay has won four in a row (3 of those over the Marlins btw) and McClung has had some recent quality starts plus the Jays just got sweep at Colorado (which they were playing at for the first time) so in order to get balanced action I think they had to make a softer line IMHO.

And yes the A's are pretenders, and also very streaky...I would never bet on them to lose after a win or win after a loss.

(2-) Units Each

Toronto -$185
Over Toronto 9

Lot of people seem to think Vegas set this line to give money away here. Toronto isn't the Marlins or the disinterested White Sox. Jays (love that name) missing a big bat should bring it against the mighty Rays today.

No Wells or Hillenbrand for Toronto...I'm going with the "Jet Lag" conspiracy theory...we'll have to see how it plays out.

I think Vegas is trying to make some cash on the only afternoon game of the day that most people could care less about...

Just want to inform here.....

for what it's worth

Steve Stone is on one of our local sports radio stations quite often. He commented last week on the White Sox day game with the Cubs, coming off a night game with the D Rays on the road. According to him, the White Sox would not suffer any adverse affects until the 2nd game off the shiit scheduling, not the immediate one the day after overnight travel.

Hey IO did they hand down a suspension for Barrett yet?

10 games for Barrett
5 games for Anderson
2 games for Cora

and a ton of fines to go around

In MLB, players get PAID :scared while serving any suspension.
