Bristol is the most amazing track for drivers and fans alike. Because of its short track and continuously high banked turns, there is no slack period. Drivers have to pay attention all the time. There are a lot of accidents and fun for all.

I will have some matchups later today.

marlin(+109) vs Stewart? (pinn)

marlin(+109) vs Stewart? (pinn)

I'm reading that Stewart is very sore.

Is there any chance that Tony runs just one lap to get some Nascar points, before pulling out?

Stewart Is tough but this place with all the banging and constant turning. Well it could ware him out. I also think a few rooks will back peddle in this race. They have been hot but a few lessons may be given out by some old pros. This 1/2 mile track takes very good bump and pass skills. We should see some nice spin outs. New pit rules makes it hard to tell how they play on race results. Have not looked at any match ups. Any one got something they like a lot. This could be a week to be very careful. New pit rules and some young lions that could screw thing up. Maybe go aginst some these kids.

It seems that a lot of the casinos have gotten burned at NASCAR this year so far. It has been a good year for the bettor.
The main reason for this seems to be that the one engine rule has really screwed them up.
In the past, how a driver qualified was a pretty good indication of his race finish. Now, however, veteran drivers are holding off practice and trying to save their engines for the race. Therefore the qualifying position does not usually determine anything.
The one exception this week was Jeff Gordon, but I feel he is trying to show that his divorce proceedings are not affecting him.
He might be pushing the envelope to much at a very difficult track.

Until this week, Station Casinos had at least 10 matchups early in the week. This week they had 3.

R Wallace EV
J Gordon -130

D Jarrett -110
K Harvick -120

R Rudd +130
S Marlin -160

p.s. I feel the Sterling Marlin is a good bet even at the higher odds. Rudd had back surgery after last season and he has not been close to last years form.

Tomorrow most Casinos will put up their after Qual matchups. more posts then.

4bubba you are correct about Rudd. Some luck is due Harvick, Jarrett, Stewart and B Labontie. But like said before can Stewart hang in there. He is very sore. Those are his words.

Stewart is a professional, but so was Steve Park and look what happened last week. It may seem easy to drive, but drivers have to be constantly on the top of their game. any distraction at a track like Bristol and a lot of cars will be junk.
stewart prides himself on his level of concentration during races, but this might greatly affect that.

at Vegas, Todd Bodine set a new record during qual, but he finished 29th in the race.

This week Jeff Gordon set a new record at Bristol during qual, how will it affect him?

Tried to post 1st NASCAR picks last week, but couldn't as the site was down. Did post them at Kevin's site - for those that know the address - and went 9-3. Let's see if it was just beginner's luck ...

Bodine to beat Mast -140 [2 units] @ Bet365USA.com
Busch to beat Terry Labonte +105 @ Bet365USA.com
Skinner to beat Nemecheck -160 [2 units] @ Bet365USA.com
Waltrip to beat Craven +110 [3 units] @ Five Dimes
Earnhardt to beat Bobby Labonte -105 @ Five Dimes
Marlin to beat Jarrett -165 @ Five Dimes
Martin to beat Bobby Labonte -115 @ Five Dimes
Nadeau to beat Harvick +115 @ Olympic
