Back to back road games, under the total?

Over the years, hitting a team that is playing back to back road games.....under the total has been profitable. It has been hitting at about a 63% clip over the years. Teams more than ever tend to play close to the vest/defensive minded with no legs in the 2nd game of a back to back situation. Teams in this position tend to sit and wait for a mistake by the other team in the neutral zone.....hoping to capitalize on the mistake.

Ottawa is playing at STL tmrw night after playing in Detroit tonight. Going to track it and see what type of results we get from now til the end of the year.

lol hopefully not, but man it seems these days there is alot more scoring in the NHL to start the year that I can remember in a long time. You dont see many of these 2-1 and 3-1 games.

Agreed, and defensive teams from last year scoring in bunches, Nashville, Calgary, etc. :popcorn2

i think there is a similar angle to teams that travel across the border
between b2b matches: second one stays under.

can't remember if it was just US-teams or were canadian teams included too...

Never looked at the angle that way. Thanks for posting.

no problem, wish there was more talk about angles and systems

i quickly checked this year:

b2b while crossing us/can border 0ver 6 - Under 13

Toronto had 2 of those overs...
o/u line is closing line for the match and there might be
double results like TOR/DET playing b2b = 2 unders.

Great stuff, I agree not nearly enough people talk angles and trends in here anymore. For that matter, barely any of the regulars from back in the day that made this a phenomenal hockey forum are around anymore, miss those days.

Those Leafs over might be games less than an hour away in Buff.......havent checked but if so, its so close for them to travel. Love that 13/19 went under!

For the record you'd be travelling at the speed of light to get from Downtown Toronto to Downtown Buffalo in "less then an hour"kurby

If there is zero traffic it takes at at least 2 hours.

Well, you can get to Mars in four minutes at the speed of light, so this analogy seems sorta :scared
