Does anyone else have ATS Lock games? Barfly posted 5 lock club games including a 20 star lock of the year play. They gave me 5 different lock games including a completely different lock of the year game. What's up with that?

I also subscribe to the ATS Lock Club, here is what I got

20 units on St Marys (+3 1/2) over Hawaii, 12:00 midnight

7 units on Penn State (+14) over Pittsburgh, 2:00

7 units on Wright State (-5 1/2) over Akron, 7:00

6 units on Michigan State (-12 1/2) over Stanford, 3:45

6 units on Notre Dame (-10 1/2) overDepaul, 5:00

As a former ATS subscriber for several years (and now in rehab), I feel somewhat qualified to add my two cents on this controversy.

On the question of whether ATS picks St. Marys +2.5 today, or as spotplaybob suggests, Illinois minus 17: I have never seen ATS release that big a favorite as their Lock of the Year.

My guess is that Mizzou and others are correct, and that the ATS pick is St. Mary's +2.5.

ATS= allow to steal

these guys are one of the worst with lies and hidden charges hell who would risk 50.6 units of their clients money in 1 day which they lost 36.3 units, what do they call a unit 10 bucks NO if they report there wins it is 500 and up at the xxxx in ok city, these guys are nothing but crooks plain and simple and take and bury many people over the years and will milk you with extra charges till your broke, or will lose so many units you are broke, but they will tell you they can get it all back with this on special play they have but guess what it will cost you another 500 but it will win, then they will give the 50-50 out and half the people got their money back and half are sent to the burnt list pile which name and address is sold to other services they have ties with and then that service will call you email and send stuff in the mail, I don't care who comes on here and tries to fight me on this and them ,I know I am right and people need to stay far away from them, they will have another game of the year soon watch.

Fletcher is right! I used this service about 10 years ago when I started gambling on a daily basis. They promised me all this bullshit, showed me records of how much money that they would win me and all the units that they were up for the year. Well needless to say, I ended up losing over $6000 in a little over a months time. Thats not including the money I spent to pay for the ATS lock club. My advice is to fade most services. The best information you can get is right here in this forum. Lots of a great cappers here. We've lost a few great cappers over the years(KC Wolf,Steel City Selections, Hoops just to name a few). Bottomline: Never, ever pay for picks!!

Why people continue to join services I will never understand. If they were that good they would just bet their own money and have no need for other people.

Their is a little more to it then that saint to why you have a service, like I do and I win and most of the time so do my clients, but it is called taxes, retirement plans being able to be a corp. for write offs and be able to pay yourself a salary, ins, health and life and some people invest their money in a real service just like I do with my stock broker, they are people looking at it as a investment not a fast way to get rich, they are or should be looking long term and I tell all people that who sign up with me and screen them and explain what i do before I even take them on, I have turned back people and have people from here who can tell you that. I spend hours on emails and the phone with all of my clients, they have my house and cell phone number so not all things are quite as black and white as you try to make it. But your opinion is respected by me and always will be.

Sorry fletcher my post wasn't directed at the few respected services like yours... my post was more directed to the kids who don't have any idea of the industry and who buy into the 90% of services which are shams. Unfortunately most people don't realize that to win in the end with sports it has to be looked at as a long term investment (like you said stocks) and not a quick hit for the big score.

I never realized it had to be set up like a corp in order for you to get insured etc...makes sense though. How did u figure that all out...good accountant i'm assuming?

Right on fletch. I can contest that ATS will get you in the long haul. I have tracked them in football for 3 years every weekend and can fade 2/3rds of the time. They are great marketers, not very good at picking winners though. I subscribe to the ats news letter because of the solid information i use to cap my own games. That is the only thing i would ever buy from Mr. Chase and company. Look at the financial package today, another solid 0-3,loll. I agree 90% are terrible and there are a few on here that won't get you buried at least. good luck though.

There is very little difference between sports gambling and where we all put our retirement savings. If anything, sports gambling is less of a risk because we have more control on what we are risking. Right now my retirement money is all in mutual funds from which I can pick from about 10 different ones my company offers but have no control beyond that.
Its funny to see how much money people will pay for financial advisors and the trust we put in them, but when it comes to sports betting we believe we are smart enough to come out ahead.
I have lost enough money that way and now pay for a service who has made me money. I sleep a little easier at night and do not spend several hours a day handicapping, which is what is needed to have any chance in this business. Do a little research and find a legit service.
In reply to saints comment, the same could be said about the stock market, if these brokers and advisors are so good why dont they just bet their own money on the market? But we dont second guess their business. They are the same as a sports bettor, just more glorified.
