Action scenes were good, but the movie blowed i thought. You could of had bill cosby and redd Foxx and it would of been the same thing.

I thought the movie was great, like the first one times a hundred.

Not to start a whole other issue here, but what kind of irresponsible parent brings their 9 year old to see this movie? Father in front of us in line brought his 9, 12 and 13 year old to see the movie. Told the ticket seller its b/c they love Will Smith. Are you f*&^ing kidding me? Its not like this is Fresh Prince of Bel Air. You want to know how kids grow up de-sensitized to violence? This is how.

Typical mindless junk from the Bruckenheimer/Bay duo.
Thats exactly what I wanted and expected. What do you expect when you go to a Bruckheimer movie Hoops, The Pianist? Give me a break.

honestly I haven't seen even a DECENT movie this summer. Seems decent intelligent films will soon be as rare as dinosaurs. Mindless garbage and endless action flicks seem to generate massive boxoffice numbers, so that is what we get over and over and over and over. Hulk, Charlies Angels, t3, bad boys, swat, what a Summer of film making.

shamrock,

i agree, haven't been to a movie in sometime. these blockbusters seem to have the samething in common: shoot-em ups, car crashes, & no real plot.

but we will see the movie called"swimng pool" this weekend, heard good things about it.

Shamrock- Yep, it's been a terrible year for movies so far. End of the year always has the pick of the litter though. I thought Pirates of the Caribbean was entertaining...Johnny Depp's performance was excellent.

I haven't even seen bad boys, so I can't comment there. But as a avid movie goer the common Avenue and lack of originality has definitely been disappointing. By the revenues generated, I realize I am in the gross minority, so I gather not much will change. Unfortunately the same theme dominates music also, no originality at all. Hard to find any really New music to really get behind. That cookie cut mold makes money, So nothing much will change.

You know something is wrong when a picture like "road to predetion" is out grossed 5x by "half baked".

c'mon, half baked wasn't that bad.... ;)

...."this joint ( no pun intended....) venture manages to produce a few chuckles, but despite the comedic talents of its topliners, the film's low-brow humor and cartoonish antics, this movie should rack up a few mil at the box office. Just say yes, to this one...!!"
