John Kerry said it would never happen. If he had his way these people would still be living under a government responsible for the genocide of 400,000 of it's own people. Once again, as always, the liberals are on the wrong side of history, democracy, and freedom. You guys can piss all over these elections all you want, this is freedom for the Iraqis and they LOVE IT!!!
THANK YOU GW BUSH!!
Before I start in on this, I need to know what perspective you are coming from. Are you saying that John Kerry said that there would be no elections in Iraq? Or that democracy would not come to Iraq? Just wondering what you are referring to.
Who is pissing all over these elections? Who exactly is saying that this is not a good day for these people? Who, exactly, has said that it's not a positive thing that Hussein and his sons are not in power?
Or is it, in reality, people who are just judging what we have done and measuring the value of it from what our country has lost in this incursion? Or questioning the reasons why we did it to begin with, and apparently will continue it?
To simply check mark anything positive coming from this and taking credit for it, without discussing the big picture is weak. It glosses over the real issues. It spins the situation. And simply, what you are applauding was not a reason we were given for going to Iraq.
Again...I ask you Charles, do you advocate going in to other countries like we did in Iraq, where people are suffering like these people did? Don't you think that democrats really think that democracy would be better for these countries?
How about one other country? Which one do you propose we go into and overthrow their government to help those people?
