Terrible play by Donovan, but the play call was probably the absolute worst possible given the time left on the clock and how the game had played out to that point...

I had nothing on the game, so it is not about crying over spilled milk. Over 180 yards rushing. 2nd and 7. Less than 2.5 minutes left in the game. Defense has held them down almost entire game.

Run the ball on 2nd down. Burn timeouts for Dallas. Maybe work yourself a first down. Game over. If not, kick it away and make them go 85 yards.

Said exact the same thing in another post, bad call, but Donovan still threw the ball, when it wasn't there, he has to run or take the sack, was only 3 step drop anyway.

i lost on this game but i can only laugh. i was thinking when it was 20-7 that since the cowboys lost a 13 point lead in the last 5 minutes of their monday night game against the redskins that it was their turn to win a game like that , and what do you know, a bomb to glen and an int return for td and BOOM, i lost.

that's the risk with the timing pattern. Donovan read the defense that he needed to throw short. The WR went long (which it seems was the right play).

horrible horrible call by the coaching staff, especially considering throwing to a rookie WR...AND throwing it to the sideline where the WR cna be easily knocked OOB and stopping the clock
