spoke with 7 books about this during the week and 2 today.

the lopsided action is on the steelers, so they need the ravens.

sharp action is about split and square action is on PIT.

does this mean anything? i don't think so.

just relaying the info.

i'm taking the ravens +200. if these teams play 10 games, no way PIT wins 7 of them. strictly a value play. well.....homer play too :)

This game also falls in to the "psycology of the 6 point line" which I believe Nolan discussed somewhere.

Seems alot of people are on the STeelers, especially since "they only have to win by a TD" and are shying away from the Ravens since they "dont want to lose by just a point". The books realize this. Since they are here to make money and the line hasn't moved, I believe they think the Ravens will cover. And with the history of straight up vs spread winners in the playoffs, I think the ML would be the way to go.

Jack first off GL today, as i said earlier im staying away, but i i will 100% take a dog getting 2.5 and 6.5 points, i think it was Kosar who said these dogs hit at nearly a 62% clip. If i were not such a homer i would grab the 6 , because as u said the squares are all over PITT which scares the chit out of me.

Houston dead on my man

Jack....

Jack....

I got a STRONG feeling the Ravens are going to MANHANDLE the Steelers today...

Billick is 5-0 against the Steelers...

The last 5 games the away team WON !

Kordell has thrown 6 picks last 2 games...

Ravens "D" looks PRIME-TIME !

i've never had any luck with teasers and rarely play them, so don't have much to comment about yours. i'll be playing the ravens straight up and over in the gb/stl game.

good luck!

I like the ravesn also. However, no one is giving the steelers any credit. They've had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and get healthy. It is at home. Knock Kordell or Bettis all you want but they have gotten the job done this year. And Cowher can match Billick as a coach. Throw in the fact that Miami should not have been a favorite in last week's game. You are never as good or as bad as you looked last week. Miami was probably the weakest team to make the playoffs this year.

Am I taking the points? Yes. Do I see a close game? Yes. Am I putting any money on the moneyline? No.

Just trying to look at the other side of the situation before I plunk my money down.

Good luck and go Ravens!
